Our airport transfer is a transportation service geared towards students who are studying at the University of Chicago.  It is provided for the students, their families, faculty and friends, and even for their visitors.  We also provide transport for business people, medical personnel and vacationers who want to arrange a ride beforehand, to or from the airport.  It differs from a taxi service since it allows the customer to book a ride ahead of time at an affordable price.

As part of your airport transfer with us, one of our professionally-trained and friendly drivers will greet you with a placard in the arrivals hall of the airport, ready to help you with your luggage and guide you to your ride for the day.  It is recommended to tell us your flight number so that your driver can make sure he will pick you up in the correct arrival hall and adapt to any changes in your flight's schedule.

All of our drivers are experienced with a wealth of knowledge of the city you will be visiting.  They are well qualified to answer any questions you may have.  Whether you’d prefer to talk to your driver, listen to some music or take a nap after a long journey, the choice is all yours.

With Fridman Properties there’s no need to worry about obtaining the local currency upon arrival or having the correct cash for your airport transfer since all of our payments are handled electronically.  Book in advance via our website to ensure your journey from air to road, or vice-versa, as seamless as possible.  Simply fill up the request form and we will handle the rest.  Once you have sent your request, you’ll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours which includes the arrangement, service fee, and payment options. Simple as that!

Our airport pickup and drop off service will help you to avoid the common taxi scammers.  Among taxi drivers you have the good, the bad and the ugly.  Mostly the bad and the ugly.  ( Ok, 1 out of 3 is pretty good anyway)  However, with our transport services you will know in advance your fare and you arrive to your destination with a professional driver at a reasonable price, without compromising your CONVENIENCE, COMFORT, and SAFETY.

We also provide 4-seater sedans and 6-seater minivans on standby for your comfort.  If you are a bigger group, NO WORRIES.  Just let us know and we will take care of you!

RATES​

Our one way trip from the airport to the apartment starts at only $69.00 for the first 3 passengers.  The vehicle is private and doesn't pick up other passengers along the way.  Our professional chauffeurs greet you at the airport and escort you while also assisting you with your luggage ... unlike rude cabbies who watch you struggle alone to carry all your luggage and then expect from you a hearty tip afterwards!  Those crude cabbies also charge an extra $20 per passenger, 

IMPORTANT NOTES​

  • All vehicles are clean, new, air-conditioned, and in good factory form

  • You won't have to look for us at the airport ... We will be LOOKING FOR YOU.  Our personnel will be holding a placard with your name and will await you at the airport terminal until you arrive

  • Prices are inclusive of all toll fees, but not the 10% tax and 5% service charge

  • Any missed pick-up caused by providing wrong arrival details will be charged with 50% of the agreed price

  • A surcharge of $5 will be applicable for any arrivals after midnight and during holidays

HOW TO BOOK AN AIRPORT TRANSFER?

1. SUBMIT THE FORM

 

Provide your complete schedule on the space provided, along with. names, number of passengers, date, time, pick-up location, drop off location, and specific requests. Make sure to be able to submit the form at least 48 hours before your pick up time to allow us to confirm your arrangement and offer you the most reasonable price.

2. WITHIN 24 HOURS 

 

Confirmation and details of your arrangement will be emailed to you within 24 hours. Price and payment options will also be provided. If you have any other requests or changes to the booking, make sure to notify us immediately.

3. CONFIRM BOOKING 

 

Select your payment method.  Make your payment within 24 hours to finalize your booking by replying to the email.  At that time please provide a photo of your payment receipt.

4. CHECK FOR PAYMENT RECEIPT 

 

As soon as we confirm the receipt of your payment, you are all set for your relaxing trip!
